About the author
Steve is currently an education consultant who has worked with young children since 1974. He was the owner/director of a child care center and worked for Head Start as an education/disability coordinator. Steve lives in Chico, California, where he graduated from California State University, Chico, with a BA in child development.
About the illustrator
John White lives in Santa Barbara and is the owner/operator of a lawn maintenance company. At night John can be found in his studio working with a variety of art projects, however oil painting is John's main interest. His work can be seen in galleries in Santa Barbars.
About the book
This is a story of a child who has been sent home from school because of head lice. Mother helps the child to understand how "bugs" are everywhere.
The book is targeted for young children. The goal is to address the feelings of young children who come in contact with head lice.
