Comments by the publisher The Face of Poetry was originally published by Mary MacArthur's Gallimaufry Press (ISBN 0-916300-07-2). To avoid a conflict of interest, MacArthur gave up publishing in order to serve the National Endowment for the Arts, and turned the Face of Poetry publishing rights over to Heidelberg Graphics. LaVerne Harrell Clark wrote the companion book, Focus 101, which includes biographies and new photos she took of those published in the Face of Poetry. |
