Shari Edwards, a native American, was born and raised in Willows, California. She graduated from California State University, Chico, with a degree in Education. After six years working as a columnist for the local newspapers she published three memoirs: As I Remember, Still Remembering, and Sometimes Memories Are All We Have. Murder in Mendocino is her first fiction.
