Lynn Elliott is an emeritus professor from California State University, Chico. He is an award-winning playwright and screenplay writer. He
has cowritten another children's story, The Boy from the Mountains
Beyond, and an autobiographical prose work, Another Child’s
Christmas in Wales.
Dani Elliott is retired from both Butte County and California State University,
Chico as a labor relations manager. She and her
husband Lynn live in Chico with their rescue pets: Walter, Beezer, and Kimchee
